Mayor Rawlings-Blake Issues Statement Confirming that Baltimore County Residents Should Contact Baltimore City for Water Service Needs
County residents experiencing water line damage should continue to call 410-396-5352
BALTIMORE, Md. (February 27, 2015)—Today, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake issued the following statement clarifying that County residents should continue to contact Baltimore City for their water service needs:
"Baltimore City is ultimately responsible for providing water services to both Baltimore City and Baltimore County residents, but we are appreciative of our ongoing partnership with the County as we respond to an increase in service requests, following the streak of sub-freezing temperatures our region has experienced this winter season.
Baltimore County residents experiencing water line damage should continue to call Baltimore City to log their service complaints at: 410-396-5352.
We are currently working with the County to amplify our response by dispatching a list of service request locations to their Department of Public Works. County investigators are following up on these requests, while City investigators will continue to focus on providing more immediate relief to Baltimore City residents."
