FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BALTIMORE, MD (Monday, January 15, 2024) – Today, the City of Baltimore announced that the annual MLK Day parade is being canceled due to inclement weather, out of an abundance of caution for the safety of participants and attendees.

The parade, which was scheduled to begin at noon (12:00 p.m.), is being impacted by winter weather, which caused snow accumulation and freezing temperatures throughout Baltimore overnight.

The City of Baltimore and BOPA are examining options for the potential to reschedule at a later date. More information on efforts to reschedule will follow.
