Baltimore City Public School Student Alvin Ailey Master Class at the Modell Lyric

Mayor Rawlings-Blake is seeking video submissions from Baltimore City Public School  students to participate in an Alvin Ailey Master Class at the Modell Lyric on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 5pm-6pm.

As a part of her Mondays with the Mayor program, all Baltimore City Public School students, boys and girls, are encouraged to submit a 90 second or less individual dance video for consideration. The application and rules and regulations are attached.

This is a free program for Baltimore City Public School students.

Completed applications and dance videos should be sent to MayorMondays@BaltimoreCity.gov no later than April 4, 2016. Winners will be announced April 18, 2016.

If you are interested in see the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, they will be performing live at the Modell Lyric for two performances:

Tuesday, April 26th at 7:30pm: Exodus –i- Awakening –p- Cry –i- Revelations

Wednesday, April 27th 7:30pm: Open Door –i- Piazzolla Caldera –i- After The Rain –p- Revelations
